Cookie Policy

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on legivel.com, operated by Strimium SRL. It supplements the Privacy Policy.

The short version

• Signed-in sessions need a session cookie — that one is strictly necessary.
• Apart from sign-in with Google, which you start yourself, nothing from Google loads before you consent. No analytics or marketing tags run until you allow statistics. Our own product metrics are collected server-side, without cookies or personal identifiers.
• We use no advertising cookies.

Strictly necessary

These cookies and storage items are needed to provide the service you request. Under the rules on cookies in the EU and the UK they do not require consent, and they cannot be switched off; without them the site cannot function. They are: the sign-in cookies, which keep you signed in for up to 30 days and protect the session; your consent choice itself (CookieConsent); Cloudflare's bot protection (the cf_clearance cookie and Turnstile's browser storage); and the site's own settings, kept in your browser's storage on your device and never sent to us — the editor text carried through a sign-in you start from the editor (removed when the editor opens it again, ignored after 24 hours), the last file you dropped on the convert page (kept so «Open in editor» works after a reload, replaced by your next drop), the site theme, the editor's document appearance and language, the code language you pick in the docs, and the save notices you have already seen. The template editor also keeps your unsaved changes and editor settings in this browser's storage.

Paddle's checkout frame, which opens only when you buy a plan, sets one bot-protection cookie of its own (__cf_bm, on paddle.com, 30 minutes); it sets nothing on our domain.

Statistics (only with your consent)

With your consent, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 load and run with Consent Mode v2 to help us understand how the website is used; no analytics from Google loads before that consent. Google's analytics cookies (the _ga family) live 14 months. One mark of your first download is kept in browser storage so that event counts once. Google processes this data on our behalf; see the Sub-processors page.

The cookie list

The consent tool's declaration below is this page's one inventory. It updates itself after each scan of this site and lists, per category, each cookie's name, provider, purpose and expiry, together with your current consent state, where you can change or withdraw it. Items the scan cannot see are kept in the declaration by hand. The cookie list shows any lifetime under one day as one day.

Managing your consent

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the Cookie settings link in the site footer; withdrawing is as easy as giving consent. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent sign-in from working.
