Refund Policy

Effective: 22 September 2026 · Last updated: 22 September 2026

This policy applies to paid subscriptions for legivel, operated by Strimium S.R.L. Subscriptions are sold by our payment provider as merchant of record, named at checkout; the refund is always processed through the provider to your original payment method.

14-day refund on your first payment

If legivel is not what you expected, we refund the first payment of your first subscription in full on request within 14 days of that payment — no conditions on usage. Write to support@legivel.com from your account email. The subscription ends when the refund is made.

Your statutory right of withdrawal (EU/UK consumers)

If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for each new distance contract for digital services — it applies to each subscription you take out, not only the first. Where performance has begun during the withdrawal period at your request, withdrawal obliges you to pay only the proportionate amount for what was provided until you withdrew. Consent to immediate performance is collected at checkout. This policy's own 14-day refund exists alongside the statutory right and never limits it: where both apply, we apply whichever is better for you.

Renewals and later payments

Renewal payments and payments after the first are not covered by the 14-day refund above. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time on your account page or through the provider's customer portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and you keep access until then. If a renewal payment fails and is not completed after the provider's payment retries, paid access ends at the end of the period already paid and the account returns to the Free plan; nothing is deleted, and paid access resumes when payment does. If you believe a renewal was charged in error, contact us — we review such cases individually.

Failed conversions

A conversion that fails after acceptance automatically returns the document to your monthly allowance. These returns are service credits, not money refunds.

Enterprise plans

Refunds for invoice-based enterprise plans are governed by the enterprise contract.

Payment disputes

If you dispute a charge with your bank instead of contacting us, the provider's dispute process applies, and the paid functions of your account may be suspended while the dispute is open — free functions remain available. Contacting support@legivel.com first is faster for everyone.
