Nested, numbered and definition lists in PDF
Bullets nest with indentation, numbered lists start where you say and renumber themselves, and definition lists set a glossary. Deep nesting and continued numbering are where lists usually break.

## A glossary as a definition list
Incoterms
: The trade terms published by the International Chamber of Commerce that say who pays for carriage, insurance and duties.
Bill of lading
: The carrier's receipt for the goods and the document of title to them.
: In practice also the contract of carriage, which is why it has three originals.
Demurrage
: The charge for a container that stays in the port longer than the free days allow.
